Cross--identification of source lists in different wave-bands using maximum likelihood techniques has been widely used, and the definitions for the quantities evaluated vary. In this section we present the definitions we chose to use, and put forward the reasoning behind such choices in the light of previous work and the characteristics of our dataset.
