MAKEMEF and MAKEMEF2
At the moment you should use MAKEMEF for _ima.fits files and MAKEMEF2 for .ms.fits files. However, currently it will let you do this the wrong way round (which fails to put the WCS info in the .ms.fits file. Could this be made to work transparantly (or possible just crash out and tell you to use the other file?).

Add an option to allow extraction WITHOUT runing IDISPLAY so that it can be run in the background more easily for doing lots of extract=opt on a set of images.
New CIRPASS ARGON spectra at all wavlength ranges
IDISPLAY doesn't seem to run in PyRaf
