154p_20030123_1851_meredith.txt This image of Comet 154p Brewington was taken on 2003\01\23 between 18.49 and 18.53UT with a Starlight Xpress MX7-16 CCD (in standard fast mode) through a 203mm f10 LX200 operating at f6.3 and is the sum of 4 no 45second images centred on stars the Comet (middle of the short trail)was located at RA 23h 30m 40.3s Dec+8d 55arcmin 30arcs. The overal field of view is approx. 16x12arcmins. The comet and three stars GSC576-742(mag+13.51), GSC576-966 (+13.29) and GSC576-790 (+14.40) form a trapezium,indeed almost a true parallelogram. The brightest star on the image is TYC576-439-1 (mag+8.09) lower right, the faintest star is GSC576-1858 (+15.27) (The Comet's RA and Dec location above and star apparent magnitudes were determined using SkyMap Pro 9).
