I am an astronomer and science communicator
based at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge

I received my PhD from the University of Cambridge, working with Prof. Rob Kennicutt and Dr. Scott Chapman. Before taking up science communication, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Steward Observatory, University of Arizona, and the Astrophysics group at the University of Cambridge.

Science Communication and Outreach

I give public talks and workshops on almost any area of astronomy (including exobiology, planetary science, stars, galaxies, and cosmology) to all demographics and ages.

The Invisible Universe

My popular astronomy book, "The Invisible Universe: Why There's More to Reality than Meets the Eye", was published in November 2021 by Oneworld Publications.

Research

My research interests are centred around understanding galaxy evolution across cosmic time.

My google scholar profile, which includes a list of my publications, can be found here.
